Final decision on NEET UG 2021, JEE Main 2021 expected soon

After the verdict on CBSE Class 12 board exams 2021, the final decision on the conduction of NEET UG 2021, and JEE Main 2021 exams are expected soon.

As the final decision regarding the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 board exams 2021 was announced by the central government yesterday, it is expected that the dates of the NEET-UG 2021 exam and JEE Main 2021 exam will also be finalised soon.

Students have been waiting anxiously for the decision of the government regarding the conduction of the board exams and national entrance exams for this year. The delay in the conduction of the board exams increased the uncertainty around the conduction of NEET and JEE.

Due to the current pandemic situation, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 April and May sessions have already been postponed till further notice. No news regarding the postponement of the NEET-UG 2021 exam has been published by NTA.

Recently it was announced that due to the delay in the JEE Main 2021 April and May session, the JEE Advanced 2021 has also been postponed. It was earlier scheduled to be conducted in July 2021. The NEET-UG 2021 exam, if it is not postponed, will be conducted on August 1, 2021.

NEET UG Application form soon

In a recent statement issued by the National Testing Agency on their official website, the application forms for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 will be released soon and students will be able to register for the exams.

As this statement was issued by NTA, it is being speculated by students that the NEET UG 2021 exam will not be pushed further, and will be conducted in August. Students are also facing uncertainty regarding the conduction of the NEET PG 2021 exam this year.

Earlier this year, the students who are set to appear for the NEET UG 2021 exam were also demanding that it should be conducted multiple times from now on, just like the JEE Main entrance, which is being conducted four times this year.

NTA has issued a statement that just like before, the NEET UG 2021 exam will only be conducted once a year, despite the unprecedented conditions created by the pandemic. It is expected that the detailed notification regarding NEET 2021 will be released in a week.
